The conclusions of audits have to be projected into changes for the benefit of the state, the President of SR and President of SAO agreed
Bratislava, May 9, 2023 – Conclusions and recommendations of state control authorities should not remain only on paper. The President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová and the President of the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) Ľubomír Andrassy agreed on this at a meeting today. They emphasized the need to project these conclusions into changes in legislation and defining clear responsibility for the implementation of public policies and strategic projects. The President expressed strong support for the audit office, which she considers to be one of the pillars of the healthy and efficient functioning of the state and public administration. The president was interested in the activities of the SAO and accepted an invitation to visit the office.
