General provisions

The Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic (further SAO SR) seated at Priemyselná 2, 827 73 Bratislava, is the operator of the SAO SR website. The SAO SR respects the privacy of everyone who accesses its website and processes personal data in accordance with valid legislation. Each time a user accesses the SAO Web site and at every access made to files, documents, and pages, data on this access is recorded and processed. See the cookies section. All of these data are processed only for statistical purposes and the improvement of services provided through this website. This data is not provided to third parties, data are not transferred to third countries and no form of profiling takes place.

User logged-in

The extended possibilities of using some of the web site services (portal) of the SAO SR are accessible to the logged-in user through the SAO's web site. The list of services provided by the SAO SR for the logged-in user can be found on the User Services Web site (https://www.nku.gov.sk/user-services). The registered user of the portal of the SAO SR is processed only to the extent of his / her name, surname and e-mail address and IP address. The email address is used to communicate directly with the correspondent and only to provide information and IP address for network security. The legal basis for data processing for the purpose of network security is § 12 par. 1 letter a), § 18 par. 2 and § 31 letter i) of Act no. 95/2019 Coll. on Information Technologies in Public Administration and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended. Data for network security purposes are stored for 1 year. This data is not provided to third parties, data are not transferred to third countries and no form of profiling takes place.

 

Lodging complaint and suggestions to SAO SR

The purpose of processing personal data when filing complaints and suggestions for the SAO SR is to handle complaints under the Act 9/2010 Coll. on Complaints as amended (further Complaints Act). The legal basis of this processing of personal data is handling of complaints under the Complaints Act. Beneficiaries or categories of recipients of personal data obtained in handling complaints process may be public authorities and other persons as part of the assistance provided, the complainant and other persons to whom the complaint relates. The provision of personal data may only be based on a legal requirement in terms of the legal basis for the provision of personal data. The transfer of personal data obtained in handling complaints and suggestions to a third country does not take place and the retention period of these personal data is 5 years in accordance with the Registration Order and the SAO SR Plan. Automated decision making, including profiling, does not take place.

Rights of the person concerned

The person concerned has, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on Protection of Individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and Act 18/2018 Coll. on Protection of Personal Data, as amended, the right to request from the SAO SR access to personal data relating the person concerned and the right to rectify or erase or restrict the processing, or the right to object to the processing, as well as the right to data portability. The person concerned must apply the rights of the person concerned in writing to the SAO SR. Furthermore, the person concerned has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
